Beach Colony is low density with only 4 condos on each floor. You will love the palm tree lined entrance to your piece of tropical paradise. For added privacy, security codes are required for gate entrance and floor access. Your condo has a no smoking/no pet policy, sleeps six, with a king in the master, a queen in the second bedroom and a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living room. This condo is located in the West Tower on the 13th floor with views of the sunset to the west. It is also larger than most two bedroom units at 1500 sq. ft. with absolutely the biggest balcony you have ever seen. The second you open the door to your vacation home you know you will have a wonderful stay. The ocean blue walls will draw you towards the huge balcony for your spectacular view of the gulf. The view from the living room window has been described 'as like being on a cruise ship'. If you have binoculars you will want to bring them to watch dolphins, beach wildlife, pelicans fly by, etc. This balcony may be your second favorite room. All living area windows and the sliding doors to the balconies have plantation shutters. The well equipped kitchen with granite countertops also has a bar height table for two with a view towards the north and towards the south. There is a spacious dining room with very comfortable chairs perfect for lingering over an excellent meal or playing games with the family.There is a pocket door separating the second bedroom and bathroom from the main living area, allowing great privacy for guests in that part of the condo. The bathroom has a single sink and a shower/tub combo with a hair dryer available as well. The TV in the second room is 25”.The living room has a picture window highlighting the beautiful white sugar sands and sparkling waters of Perdido Key. You will appreciate the 42” flat screen LED TV in the living room and the brightly colored furnishings. Of course wireless internet eliminates the necessity of being tied down in one room.The master bedroom has a foyer entrance. The room has floor to ceiling sliders which open to the balcony and highlight gorgeous views to the west. The bed is king for a comfortable night’s sleep at day’s end. There is a huge walk in closet that holds a dresser and the TV is 35” large. The master bath has a very large walk-in shower with an installed bench for comfort. You will pamper your senses while soaking in the Jacuzzi tub which overlooks the gulf waters. There are dual sinks with a large mirror and a hair dryer.Perdido Key, Florida, is surrounded by water, with the Gulf of Mexico on one side, Old River, and the Intracoastal Waterway on the other. Experience one of Florida's finest beaches-- great for walking, shelling and solitude! Beach Colony is on the east end of Perdido Key, next to the entrance of Johnson's Beach State Park and 7 miles of undeveloped marine sanctuary beach. Beach Colony is within walking distance to restaurants, boutique shopping and night life.If you want a change of pace from the beach, there is lots of exciting nearby attractions. Our favorite is the Naval Aviation Museum with IMAX theatre. Visitors from around the world come to Pensacola to see this exciting U.S. Navy and Marine facility and home of the Blue Angels. Across from the museum is the Pensacola Lighthouse. When the Blue Angels are in town for practice you can climb the steps of the lighthouse to watch them fly right in front of you! Also nearby is Historic Pensacola, the first settlement in America, pre-dating St Augustine by 75 years.Perdido Key has year-round golf, including Lost Key Golf Club, an Arnold Palmer designed course 1/4 mile away, numerous fishing charters, zoos in both Gulf Shores and Gulf Breeze, shopping in Gulf Shores and downtown Pensacola, and many outstanding restaurants.
