On with the description!!!Enjoy all that Pensacola has to offer from this traditional 1930's NW Florida cottage centrally located in the fantastic neighborhood of East Pensacola Heights only 3.5 miles to Downtown/ Palafox Pier, 4 miles to Pensacola International Airport, 7.7 miles to Pensacola Beach and 8.7 miles to NAS Pensacola. This two bedroom/one bath cottage is for the guest that desires and appreciates a true, 1930's Pensacola cottage which showcases the original heart pine flooring, tongue and groove ceilings and wainscoting, yet through a tedious 2009 renovation, has all the expected modern conveniences such as granite countertops, dishwasher, enhanced fixtures and central heating and air conditioning. Extreme care was taken to preserve original architectural characteristics while enhancing the livability and comfort of the home. The floor plan provides maximum space utilization with an open living to dining room and the fantastic period ‘Jack and Jill’ bath is conveniently accessible from either bedroom. The “Florida” room off of the kitchen holds the full size washer and dryer as well as storage for beach toys, and other convenience items. Arguably the best part of the home is the inviting front porch swing; day or night, what better way to watch the world pass by! While this home can sleep up to four, it is primarily intended for a couple or small family get-away. The home is located 2.5 blocks from a city park with full playground, baseball fields etc., 4 blocks to an amazing family owned deli/grocery store (Apple Market), 6 blocks to a stretch of U.S Hwy 90 known as "Scenic Highway" that has a multitude of great family owned restaurants. With certainty, and as guest reviews attest, we believe this is the perfect accommodation for those interested in venturing from traditional lodging options while refusing to compromise high standards of safety, cleanliness and comfort.
