Castaway’s Condominium is a 36 unit complex located in the heart of Gulf Shores. Our newly remodeled 2 bedroom condo is on the beach where the view is wonderful with the ocean being just a few steps from the pool. Since this is a low-density complex, there are no crowds, and no long walks so you'll be on our large, private beach in minutes!With the incredible beach front view and the comfy sofa, table and chairs, our balcony is sure to be a favorite spot during your vacation. You will enjoy relaxing while listening to the surf and be sure to look for the dolphins playing in the ocean during the morning hours. This third floor balcony is perfect for observing family and friends in the pool area. The open layout in the living area is great for visiting with family and friends and features an expansive beachfront view, a 55” Flat Screen TV, DVD player and sleeper sofa. The kitchen has new appliances and updated cabinets which contain all new cooking essentials and the small appliances you will need plus a washer and dryer. The flooring is new and all the walls are freshly painted. The spacious master suite with all new furnishings and decor has two queen size beds and features a large oceanfront window, a 42' flat screen TV, private access to the balcony and walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a king size bed with a twin bunk over it plus a 32’ flat screen TV. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with double vanity sink, plenty of storage and a separate bath area. Netflix accounts are set up on every TV and wi-fi is included. We have also provided our guests with board games, books, magazines and movies for added relaxation. You will enjoy the beachfront swimming pool which extends underneath the condo for relief from the sun. Lounge chairs are available on the deck and tables with seating available in the shade with two charcoal grills nearby. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rental along with jet-ski’s and parasailing. The Alabama State park is just minutes away with a great fishing pier. Bicycles and motorized scooters are available for rent just across the street.Being just 1/4 mile from the main beach intersection we are within walking distance of many souvenir stores and restaurants including a favorite spot, The Hangout, which has live music, outside dining, shopping and a variety of entertainment for the whole family. Also we're just a short drive away from the zoo, water and amusement parks, movie theaters, many golf courses, deep sea fishing plus many shopping options including an outlet mall with over 120 stores.
