'Blue Bayou' is a 5 bedroom, 3 bath single-family non-smoking home that can accommodate 15 guests comfortably. Located in a quiet family neighborhood Blue Bayou is perfect for families and friends who want to get together to relax and re-connect. It features two covered boat slips, a private swimming pool which can be heated, tasteful tropical décor, air conditioning, Free Wi-Fi, and the convenience of an elevator for those who are unable to navigate stairs or just want the convenience of bringing groceries and supplies quickly and effortlessly to the upper level.The huge master suite includes 1 KING size bed, 1 FULL bed and a FULL bath with 2 sinks as well as an enormous walk-in closet. The 2nd bedroom features 1 KING bed and overlooks the swimming pool. The 3rd bedroom features 1 QUEEN bed and opens to the sun porch and pool, while the 4th contains 1 QUEEN bed and 1 TWIN bed and looks out to the pool and bayou. The 5th bedroom features 1 FULL bed and 1 TWIN bed and is adjacent to the main level FULL bath. The 2nd FULL bathroom is equipped with a tub/shower and the 3rd main level FULL bath includes 2 sinks and an over-sized shower with double shower heads! The sun porch opens out to the lower deck and private swimming pool and includes 1 QUEEN bed, lots of windows, Flatscreen TV and 2 ceiling fans for comfortable sleeping! The Living Room includes a comfy QUEEN size Sleeper Sofa. All Bedrooms and sleeping areas are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans and flat-screen televisions with either built-in or separate DVD players. Each has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished with your comfortable vacation in mind. The home's spacious upper level features lots of windows and french doors that open to the Balcony overlooking the Pool and the Bayou. The tropical furnishings are casual and selected for your comfort and enjoyment. The fully equipped kitchen has Corian countertops, stove, refrigerator with in-door ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, a huge amount of cabinet storage and an eat-at counter for at least 12 people. A child high chair can be found in the Master walk-in Closet. All regular small appliances are included as well as extras such as a waffle-maker, slow-cooker and popcorn maker. The desk in the kitchen area features a list of services and activities available in the area and there is a cabinet stocked with books, movies, puzzles, games and playing cards. The two spacious living areas are complete with comfortable tropical furnishings, huge flat screen TV’s with DVD players and music systems as well as on the lower level a Ping Pong table, and Playstation 2 with games. 'Blue Bayou' also features a convenient elevator that opens to either the Kitchen or the Master Suite.There is a huge shaded upper balcony with ceiling fans, a gas grill and a great view of the Bayou. From the concrete sunning patio you can watch your kids playing and swimming in the pool or see fish or occasionally dolphins jumping in the Bayou. In addition to the lower covered decks next to the boat slips there is a cute covered waterfront 'shack' complete with counter top, running water and refrigerator. The 'shack' adjoins the HUGE built-in charcoal grill where you can grill your day's catch! This area also offers a nice gathering place in the shade and a casual outdoor dining table and umbrella next to the Bayou. We invite guests to being their state license plate to date, sign and nail up in the party 'shack'. The waterfront also features two covered boat slips that will accommodate up to a 30 foot boat. There is a fish-cleaning station on the pier with a sink, running water and an area to filet your catch! Clean your fish, cook them on the grill and enjoy your meal sitting on the sheltered deck! There is lots of parking space for cars and trailers in the large driveway and garage. 'Blue Bayou' is minutes by boat to the Gulf of Mexico. Cotton Bayou public beach access and the public boat launch are both 5 minutes away. There are also many miles of protected water and bays to explore with small boats, pontoons, and the 6 provided kayaks, complete with paddles and life jackets. Enjoy adventures leading to white sandy beach islands and Pirate’s Cove Restaurant!Grocery and convenience stores such as Publix are very close and the outstanding Tanger Outlet mall is a thirty-minute trip by car.
