Great views and right on Beach Blvd.------In October 2014, we purchased and renovated our first condo at Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club. It was a true labor of love and we refer to it as "our baby" and we love it as much today as we did when we first purchased it.Then, in October 2015, we purchased this wonderful beach front condo at Gulf Shores Plantation (GSP) Resort. We have COMPLETELY renovated it from top to bottom and now, it's a beautiful upscale property with amazing views ready for you and your family to enjoy.Why We Fell In Love With Our Resort CondoOur GSP condo is located on the top (3rd) floor of building 2 (Plantation East) and looks out directly at the Gulf of Mexico, which is a short walk on the boardwalk away. The GSP complex features a total of six (6) pools, which includes an indoor pool, an indoor hot tub, and one heated outdoor pool. The complex also has tennis courts, outdoor basketball court, shuffle board, horseshoes, and new exercise room. It's also located right next to Kiva Dunes golf course. Best of all, Gulf Shores Plantation Resort is VERY family friendly and quieter since it's located off of Fort Morgan Highway (180). A Walking Tour Of Our Completely Renovated Condo1. The HallwayA long hallway (with new floors and board and batten walls) greets you as you enter our completely renovated condo. The hallway features two cozy bunk beds for the kids, each with their own LED lights for reading or just hanging out in their 'secret hideaway'.2. The BedroomTaking a left in the hallway will lead you into the relaxing, tastefully decorated bedroom where you'll welcome the opportunity to rest and recover after a long day of fun in the sun. The queen size bed is VERY comfortable thanks to the cooling jel, memory foam mattress topper. You'll be sure to wake up refreshed and rested and ready for another day on the beach or in the pool.The bedroom also features a 3-drawer dresser, wall mounted TV with DVD player and HDMI hookup, and two night stands. The bedroom closet provides plenty of space for your hanging clothes, as well as an iron and ironing board. You will also find a broom and vacuum cleaner here for your convenience.3. The BathroomDirectly across from the bedroom is a brand new bathroom featuring a tile shower with a tub. And don't bother bringing your own bath towels because we provide them as well as hand towels and wash cloths. Leave that hair dryer at home too because you'll find one in the new vanity. By the way, you'll LOVE the water pressure in the shower!4. The Kitchen As you walk down the hallway past the bunk beds, you will enter a truly inviting living area featuring a beautiful new, completely stocked kitchen with granite counter top, stainless steel appliances, and white shaker-style cabinets with slow close drawers and doors. The kitchen includes a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all the utensils you'll need to prepare a nice meal.5. The Living AreaAcross from the kitchen, you'll see a brand new, sturdy pullout full-size sofa (sleeps 2) and a cozy, comfy side chair. Put your feet up on the new ottoman and relax as you look out at the beach or watch one of many cable channels available on the 32' wall mounted TV (with DVD player and HDMI hookups). 6. The BalconyWalk out of the living area and onto the private balcony with 2 separate seating areas - one with 2 bar height chairs and matching table. What a wonderful space to start (or end) your day while watching and listening to the waves. Don't forget to look for dolphins too!But there's so much more to our condo and the Gulf Shores Plantation Resort complex than what we can describe in words. It's truly an amazing, relaxing, family-friendly resort managed by people who care. All that is missing is YOU!
