Boarding the Fort Morgan National Wildlife Preserve, the Little House by the Bay is a perfect place to go and write a book, or just get away and let the world go by. Located on 2 acres, with 150 feet of water front on beautiful and historic Mobile Bay, this is a great place to watch the boats go by on the intercoastal, fish, crab or enjoy the nearby white sandy beaches. The location is secluded and very private, although high levels of activities are just a few minutes away. A short drive just across highway 180 and you are on the beautiful white sandy public beaches adjacent to the National Wildlife Preserve. Enjoy the blue water and surf during the day and in just a few minutes, you are back at the Little House by the Bay. The property includes a 130 foot pier to fish, crab and sunbath from. If you are a boater, you can moor your boat 150' off shore at mooring posts and wade in waste deep. By boat, you are justa 20 minute boat ride from Lulu Buffet's Bar and Grill and all the sites of Gulf Shores. Futher to the East on the intercoastal, and you are at Orange Beach and Perdido Pass. A 16 mile boat ride to the West will put you at Fort Morgan and the Mouth of Mobile Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. A bit further West and you are at Dauphin Island. Some of the best in-shore and off-shore fishing and crabbing are right at your finger tips. The Little House by the Bay is a 1,000 square foot cottage with a large great room (den kitchen) and a very large bedroom with a king size bed, and a bunk bed. The couch is also comfortable and blow up mattresses can be put in the den. There is bed sleeping for 4, and room a for a few others.
