Gulf Shores Plantation has all the amenities one would expect to find at a resort yet provides a great getaway from the crowds. This is a spacious complex designed with families in mind. One can relax and enjoy a peaceful stroll along the shore watching for dolphins. There are multiple activities available on site including horseshoes, lighted tennis and basketball courts. The condo has 2 outdoor pools, one indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room and a large indoor hot tub. There are numerous outstanding golf courses very close to the complex. The nationally recognized Kiva Dunes course is located at the Plantation. The beautiful Peninsula course and The Gulf Shores Golf Club are both less than 10 miles away. You will pass these courses on the road out to the Plantation.Our second floor unit is directly on the gulf. We feel it is the ideal unit. Our tiled balcony overlooks the beach and the most beautiful pool in the entire complex. Whether it is coffee in the morning or cocktails in the afternoon, the view from our balcony can't be beat. The unit is Wi-Fi ready in case you want to tell your friends what they are missing. Our unit has a 42 inch TV and DVD in the den. We also have a 32 inch TV in the bedroom and a CD/radio for your convenience. Towels and sheets are provided. It has a COMFORTABLE queen size bed, a queen size sofa sleeper and a berth bed suitable for a child. The upper berth has been covered to make it easier to store luggage, etc. We also have a stand up pantry to store those snacks that are such a necessity at the beach. We have a dishwasher. The laundry is conveniently located very near our unit. We were renters long before we were owners. We have kept that in mind as we furnished and decorated our condo. We attempted to make our unit one we would enjoy visiting.
