Welcome to Crab Cakes. We are new home owners, having purchased this house in November 2016.Crab Cakes is located between the 2 and 3 mile marker in Ft. Morgan, AL. This area has miles of beautiful white beaches just waiting for you and the kids to build sandcastles or catch that once in a lifetime sunrise you will remember long after you return home. Sit on the deck of this 3 bedroom/2 bath house and soak in the events of the day. You will also enjoy preparing your meals in a fully equipped kitchen. Crab Cakes has an open living/dining area for those fun family times.Full size washer and dryer so no need to bring a lot of clothes. 2 bedrooms have queen beds, 1 bedroom with a full size bed and a loft with a sofa that pulls out into a full bed. All linens are included. You would need to bring your own beach towels. Beach buggy, beach chairs, umbrellas, deck chairs and a charcoal grill are in the storage room. There is covered parking under the house. Often you can step outside and see the Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Squadron practicing over the Gulf of Mexico just steps from the house. While you could easily get caught up in the beauty of the beach, you are close to many area attractions. Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge, golfing at the Kiva/Peninsula or Craft Farms golf courses are only a few miles away. Jump on the ferry and ride across to Dauphin Island or take a tour of Ft. Morgan. Other activities include shopping at the nearby Tanger Outlet Mall, Gulf Shores Zoo, miniature golf, Waterville USA and go cart riding. There are several places to eat, Tacky Jack's, The Sassy Bass, and Ft. Morgan Pizza just to name a few, so you do not have to go back into town if you don't want to. You can charter a fishing trip at Tacky Jack's Marina, less than a mile from the house. In case you forgot an item, you are just down the road from several convenient stores. No riding round and round trying to find a place to park or fighting the crowds to find an area for your beach chair. No waiting on a condo elevator! If you are looking for that home away from home that is comfortable and cozy, away from all the traffic and noise, this house is perfect for you.
